We are bombarded with messages about the dangers of too much sitting, not moving enough, chairs and couches in our living rooms etc... But is more movement always better? On the journey to building strength, loaded movement it vital, but less is sometimes more. The other side of this coin is rest and recovery. Many active people have internalized messages that more movement is always better but as Chris and Kathryn have experienced this can be a step stone to problematic exercise behaviours, being under recovered, and increased stress when it comes to lifestyle.
